The short version

Images you open in Listing Image Checker are processed inside your browser. They are not uploaded, not stored on a server, and not transmitted to any third party. There is no account, so there is no profile.

What happens to your files

When you select a file, the browser reads it into memory on your device. Decoding, resizing, compression and format conversion all happen locally using the Canvas API and a WebAssembly decoder for HEIC. The result is created as a temporary object in your browser and is discarded when you close or reload the tab. We have no technical ability to access these files.

What we store

One thing: if you unlock Pro, a flag is written to your browser’s local storage so the larger batch limit survives a reload. That flag never leaves your device and can be removed by clearing site data. No cookies are set by the site itself.

Payments

Pro purchases are handled by our payment provider. Your card details are entered on their checkout page and never reach this site. The provider shares the order confirmation and email address with us so we can send your unlock code and handle refunds. Their own privacy policy governs the payment data.

Analytics

This deployment does not load any third-party analytics script. Server logs from the hosting provider may record IP addresses and requested URLs for security and abuse prevention, as with any website.

Children

The service is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your rights

Because we do not hold personal data beyond a payment record, there is very little to request. If you want your purchase record deleted, email support@listingimagecheck.xyz and we will remove it unless we are required to keep it for tax purposes.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be noted on the About page.
